BRIDGE THE GAP DESIGN COMPETITION

Time: 11am - 3pm
Location: ECJ 3.116

Bridge the Gap is a 2-hour design charrette created for engineers of varying education levels. Students must attempt one of five design disciplines: Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, Construction, or Sustainability. Students will work in teams to produce digital posters presenting their building design. During the contest, they are expected to develop a basic preliminary design that addresses a specific problem introduced at the beginning of the contest. This contest should serve as a learning opportunity, allowing students to apply knowledge gained from coursework and internships.
