Harvey J. Treybig’s experience in the highway and airfield aspects of civil engineering covers the entire range of engineering management, research and development, design, testing, construction, and rehabilitation. He spent several years of his career in the Design Division of the Texas Highway Department where many of his responsibilities were roadway design-oriented with particular attention to field data collection, design calculations, and field inspection. During his assignment as a Research Engineer at the University of Texas, his work involved computer-aided pavement design developments for both highway and airfield applications. During the past 29 years, Harvey J. Treybig has directed major airfield projects, municipal street and drainage projects, pavement evaluation and management projects, research implementation projects and has been instrumental in developing design procedures, design criteria, and programs for FAA, FHWA, CR51, U.S. Navy, and other industry groups. His experience includes project supervision and management, corporate management, and marketing of professional services. Harvey J. Treybig has authored and co-authored dozens of publications that relate to his experience.
