Carl J. “Chuck” Larosche is a Senior Principal at Wiss, Janney, Elstner with more than 35 years of experience in structural design and construction, including the investigation and repair development for various existing and historic structures. He has successfully combined a broad construction background with a knowledge of material behavior in existing structures to become an industry leader in the area of masonry, concrete, and steel evaluation, including strengthening and repair of these materials. He has developed a national practice for WJE in concrete repair, rehabilitation, and restoration and has been recognized as a fellow in the American Concrete Institute. Mr. Larosche’s practice includes historic structures; high and low-rise buildings; and a broad range of civil structures including marine structures, treatment plants, dams, tunnels, industrial facilities, nuclear generating plants, tunnels, and bridges. His notable historic preservation projects have included the restoration of the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Plaza, the Texas State Capitol’s copper roof, Elisabet Ney Museum, and over 20 Texas county courthouses.
