Bob Anderson is a senior bridge professional registered in eleven states, with over 4 decades of diverse engineering and management experience. He earned his bachelor’s degree from South Dakota State University in 1983 and his M.S. from The University of Texas in 1988. Graduating from UT Austin profoundly changed the trajectory of his career for the better. During his 35-year tenure at AECOM Corporation and legacy companies, Bob has worked as a structural engineer, project manager, and currently serves as a Vice President. His expertise includes applying highly technical design principles and effective project management techniques that have contributed to the success of major bridge projects across the United States and worldwide, including the planning, design, inspection, evaluation, rehabilitation, and construction of over 20 cable supported structures. His technical expertise is enhanced and complimented by active participation in several committees of the American Concrete Institute and through the authoring of many technical articles.
