Assistant Professor |
My current research focuses around pore fluid engineering geotechnics: a new approach focused on the pore fluids of geomaterials as a mean to improve the understanding and performance of our soils. My main thrust areas are: Suspension Flow through Porous Media, Earthquake Engineering and Nonaqueous Pore Fluids. As such, my research integrates the areas of rheology, deep-bed filtration, geotechnical, geo-environmental and petroleum engineering to better understand the progressive temporal and space variations during and post flow of complex fluids in porous media.
