Undergraduate Advising

The civil, architectural and environmental engineering (CAEE) advising team is ready to help current and prospective students navigate their way through the degree plan and University life. Available by appointment, we are here to listen, answer questions and provide resources to support each student. For general advising questions, please email caee.undergrad@engr.utexas.edu. 

New Students

New incoming students are provided instructions for attending registration advising during new student orientation. Please register for UT Orientation after accepting your offer of admission. All incoming undergraduate students in the Fariborz Maseeh Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering are required to have a laptop. Make sure your laptop is compliant.

Current Students

Academic advising is not required unless a student is on scholastic probation. During registration periods—typically in March and October—we email students advising procedures. Current students can also find useful information on the CAEE Advising Canvas page or via ENGR Direct.
