• Estimation of Intake: Soil Ingestion

  • a child ingests soil containing 1 mg/kg of benzene and 10 mg/kg of toluene in a residential situation. Estimate the dose using the appropriate intake equation and intake parameters.
  • Note: benzene is a carcinogen; toluene is a non-carcinogen.
