Benzene Concentrations in Groundwater: Benzene concentration contour map constructed using the maximum measured value for benzene for each monitoring well. The data were first imported into the GIS software from the tabular database of environmental measurements. The Inverse Distance Weighting interpolation method was used to construct a benzene concentration surface from the points. Measurements are given in micrograms per liter (mg/L).
