Scaling factors are derived fromGeneral Circulation Models
Notes:
General Circulation Models are used to examine different climate scenarios
- Canadian Climate Centre (CCC)
- Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS)
- Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Lab (GFDL)
(R15 and R30 are different versions)
- Oregon State University (OSU)
- United Kingdom Meteorological Office (UKMO)
All six of the models predicted increased temperature for the region
The models had mixed results for precipitation and were not as accurateat matching observed climate statistics
