ENVIRONMENTAL FLUID MECHANICS
University of Texas at Austin, Department of Civil, Architectural & Environmental Engineering

The city of Austin is restoring a section of the Shoal Creek, an urban stream that has been plagued by excessive erosion and breaking sewer lines running beneath the bed. There is an opportunity for a graduate student to study how the restoration project affects the hydrodynamics of the stream

This project is unfunded, but I expect to be able to arrange an ongoing TA position for the student who takes on this work.

The city of Austin is interested in the project and will actively collaborate with the student.
