A symposium in the U.S. National Congress
of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, June 25-30, 2006
organized by Ben R. Hodges
Free Surface
Flows
Free surfaces are both a boundary condition
and a subject of interest in themselves for a variety of naturally-occuring
and engineering flows. The deformability of a free surface creates
difficulties for models, laboratory and field studies. This session
solicits contributions discussing the latest advances in understanding
and studying fluid flows where a free surface plays a dynamic role.t.

Hodges.
In McMat 2005, this session had 14 excellent
presentations with 7 accompanying papers. A list of authors is <here>.
I hope we can keep both the quantity and quality in Boulder!
