Bio
Zhaomiao Guo leads the INfrastructure Systems with Proactive, Intelligence, and Resilience Enhancement (INSPIRE) Lab at The University of Texas at Austin and is an assistant professor in the Maseeh Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering. Prior to joining UT Austin, he was an associate professor at the University of Central Florida.
Guo’s research centers around resilient and intelligent critical infrastructure systems, with a specific emphasis on coupled transportation and energy systems with transportation electrification.
His scholarly endeavors have garnered support from esteemed funding agencies at the federal, state and local levels. Guo received the NSF CAREER Award in the year 2023.
