Structural engineering professor receives fellowship to fund nondestructive testing research
Associate Professor Salvatore Salamone and Ph.D. candidate Arvin Ebrahimkhanlou were selected by the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) to receive a 2018 ASNT Fellowship Award.
The award provides assistance to fund research activity in nondestructive testing at the graduate level, either master’s or doctoral. The researchers will receive a $20,000 award to pursue their proposed work, “MEWR: A bio-inspired probabilistic framework for structural health monitoring of complex structures.”
They will be recognized at the ASNT Annual Conference in Houston in October 2018.
