Lance Manuel, professor in Mechanics, Uncertainty, and Simulation in Engineering (MUSE), received the Texas Blazers Outstanding Faculty Award at the Texas Blazers Faculty Appreciation Breakfast held in November 2012.

Manuel was one of sixteen faculty members from across The University of Texas at Austin to receive this award.
UT Austin’s Texas Blazers were founded in 1994 by a group of men who wanted to create an organization committed to a more “hands-on” approach to service that included high standards of academics and leadership.
