Bio
Marcelo Azambuja has over 20 years of industry experience and is currently a Project Manager IV with TxDOT, where he oversees planning, cost estimating, scheduling and monitoring progress on complex transportation/infrastructure projects. He also has 10 years of experience as a construction management educator at Southern Illinois University and The University of Texas at Austin.

Azambuja received his B.S. in civil engineering and M.S. in construction management and economics from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. He later received his Ph.D. in construction engineering and project management from The University of Texas at Austin.
