Disruptive Innovation Summit

The Disruptive Innovation Summit, hosted by Texas CAEE in partnership with the United Engineering Foundation, guided a new and thoughtful consideration of the innovation required across all elements of the architecture, engineering and construction professions.
Texas CAEE: Leaders in Innovation
Over two and a half days, this interactive, “search and discovery” workshop brought together innovative minds from around the globe to discuss the ideas that will shape tomorrow’s world and help us better understand today’s. Participants included a broad spectrum of multi-disciplinary engineers, along with stakeholders in the built and natural infrastructure ecosystem who are excited about developing new infrastructure and adapting existing infrastructure to enable more effective and efficient means for providing water, food, energy, transportation, health care, urbanization and biodiversity. The forum forced attendees to think broadly and ask questions about how we all play a part in developing solutions for the future.
Through keynote presentations, panel conversations, team breakout sessions and practical application discussions, participants examined grand engineering challenges, disruptive technologies and entrepreneurship in action across water, energy, transportation, health care and beyond.
