CAEE undergraduate students were challenged by Department Chair Richard Corsi to produce a video addressing “Why CE” or “Why ArE” or "Why become an Environmental Engineer."
The winning team was announced at the 14th Annual Spring Banquet on April 14, 2016. The winners are seniors Rachel Allensworth, Bruno Chiquini and Hagen Fritz.
Banquet attendees had the opportunity to view the winning video.
The Challenge:
- Produce a video that is less than 120 seconds in total length addressing “Why CE” or “Why ArE” or "Why become an Environmental Engineer.".
- State your first name, where you are from, and why you chose your major (be honest!).
- Why you think this is a good choice for prospective students.
- Videos may be humorous or serious, but must be aimed at educating and suitable for the general public.
- Videos must contain information that is technically defendable.
- Videos must include at least one image or scene from somewhere on the UT Austin campus.
- Scenes from a CAEE lab, classroom or with a professor somewhere in the background are encouraged but not required.
